A Meat Up is a community of people who are interested in buying local foods and supporting sustainable agriculture. There is good meat being produced in Maine and this is a fun and easy way to buy it.

 

Farmers’ Gate partners with a network of farms to offer a variety of local, pasture-raised meats directly to the growing number of Mainers who are seeking home grown food. Deliveries are made to the Meat Up host, which could be family, group of families, or a business.

 

We currently operate 9 different Meat Up communities: South Portland, Portland, Yarmouth, Auburn, Falmouth, Rockport, Damariscotta, Cape Elizabeth. Each Meat Up group meets up every 2 or 3 months.
