Meat by the Side

BEEF ~ PORK ~ LAMB… by the SIDE

Buying beef, pork, and lamb by the side is a great way to save money and fill your freezer with local pasture-based meats, cut the way you want it.

How Do I Order?

Step 1: You call or stop in to place an order. We ask for $100 deposit on a side of beef and $50 for a side of pork or lamb. It will take us 2-6 weeks to turn your order around. We will put you in the schedule book.

Step 2: We work with you to determine how you want your meat cut and packaged. There are many ways to cut a side of beef. We will teach you about all the cuts and help you decide which cuts you want.

Step 3: You make room in your freezer. A side of beef should fit easily in a 15 cubic foot chest freezer.

Step 4: We skillfully cut and pack your order and then put it into a deep freeze.

Step 5: Come and get it!

Why by the Side?

Save money – You will save ~$500 by purchasing a side of beef rather than buying the very same cuts at retail prices. In addition, you only need to make one trip to the butcher shop.

Cut your way – We cut the meat exactly how you want it, every cut made just for you.

Learn new cuts – Explore new cuts of meat and try new recipes. We are always glad to share some of our preparation and cooking experiences. Give us a call.
